How to change the font of terminal in Windows
Want to change the font of the terminal in Windows?
- Write
regedit
in Windows’s start menu and run it; - look for (CTRL+F) the
Console/TrueTypeFont
key; - double-click on the string
00
and change the default font name with your loved one; - start a terminal (“cmd”), right click on it, and click on “Properties”. Click on the “Font” tab and select the font of your choice;
- enjoy hours of CLI interaction.
Personal tip: I love and use the monospaced Consolas font family. Sharp, readable, and geeky 😀
