How to change the font of terminal in Windows

  1. Write regedit in Windows’s start menu and run it;
  2. look for (CTRL+F) the Console/TrueTypeFont key;
  3. double-click on the string 00 and change the default font name with your loved one;
  4. start a terminal (“cmd”), right click on it, and click on “Properties”. Click on the “Font” tab and select the font of your choice;
  5. enjoy hours of CLI interaction.

Personal tip: I love and use the monospaced Consolas font family. Sharp, readable, and geeky 😀
